Giving Back
Because living here comes
with a responsibility to give back.
Bush Living is a celebration of the place we call home — a place surrounded by extraordinary wildlife, natural beauty and a community of people committed to protecting it.
We believe that celebrating the Lowveld also means supporting the people and organisations working every day to protect it.
As part of our commitment to giving back, a portion of the proceeds from Bush Living Expo will be donated equally between Luna Hounds and Scales Conservation Fund, in support of the important work they do.
We also hope to use Bush Living as a platform to introduce more people to their work, share their stories and create opportunities for our visitors, exhibitors and partners to get involved.
Using the extraordinary abilities of dogs to protect wildlife.
In a region where wildlife conservation is such an important part of everyday life, Luna Hounds is doing something remarkable: putting highly trained K9s at the heart of conservation.
Luna Hounds is a specialist K9 conservation organisation based in the Lowveld, working with dogs and their handlers to support wildlife protection and conservation efforts.
Their dogs are trained to use their extraordinary senses, intelligence, speed and ability to track and detect scents to assist conservation teams in a range of situations.
Helping Species Whose Existence Hangs in the Balance.
Conservation is a vast and complex undertaking.
Across South Africa, there are organisations, conservationists, researchers, rangers, wildlife specialists and community initiatives working every day to protect threatened species, restore habitats and safeguard our natural heritage.
Scales Conservation Fund exists to help support that work.
Rather than focusing on a single conservation project or species, Scales supports a range of conservation initiatives, helping direct resources towards projects where they can make a meaningful difference.

Our Commitment
Giving back shouldn't be an afterthought.
Giving back is an important part of the Bush Living story from the very beginning.
A portion of the proceeds from Bush Living Expo will be donated equally between Luna Hounds and Scales Conservation Fund, in support of the important work they do to protect, preserve and care for the wildlife and natural environment that make the Lowveld so special.
We also hope to use the Expo as a platform to raise awareness of their work and create opportunities for our visitors, exhibitors and partners to get involved.
Because celebrating where we live also means helping to protect what makes it so special.
